The Almaboobies new CD 'Welcome' was recorded in June 2007 but unfortunately was not up to our standard. It was then re-recorded, mixed and mastered by Matt-Ira Chapman and completed in early November 2007...it's OUT NOW! If you like what you hear let us know and we can sort you out a copy.

Fancy a laugh...The Almaboobies were mucking around on the computer and found the tool that makes everything sound a million miles an hour! If only people could play this fast, music would become even more insane than it already is...

OUR MUSIC

What are our songs about?  What do they mean?
Below we have written what our recorded songs are about:

"WELCOME"

AT THE END OF THE DAY:
Irritating things sometimes bring out different views. At the end of the day is a saying that is totally overused by the media.

POSTCARD:
When a community closes in around you it’s sometimes hard to see it in a good light.

A LYING ARSE NUMPTY. MAN:
First love is not always what you think it is, but you have to experience it first.

OUR GOODBYES:
Family conflict is very painful.

SIMPLISTIC STATISTIC:
This is the way we’re all going to end up in this world of digital information.

"BEAUTIFUL ANGEL"

GOODBYE GIRL:
This is about starting over after a terbulant past.

CARDBOARD CITY:
An inside look at the world of down and outs.

LEADER OF MY OWN NATION:
Being your own person and having the confidence to not be influenced by other people.

BEAUTIFUL ANGEL:
A tribute to our dear beautiful friend Donna.

LITTLE TOY WORLD:
This is about nasty little people in nasty little towns.

"KOOL SKOOLS"

INFERIORITY COMPLEX:
This was written for those people who lack confidence in life which gives them an inferiority complex and the effects it can give.

THE RUSSELL MAN:
This is a true story of a kind man who helped the poor to cloth their children. But, alas, this man was finally swalled whole by the corporates.

"I STILL LIKE MARMITE!"

PINS IN MY DOLLY:
This song is for all those people who like to have a real jab behind peoples backs, make anominous nasty little comments and do not have the balls to say it to their face, this is our little jab at them!

PERIPHERAL VISION:
This one is for all you egomaniacs out there, I am sure everyone knows at least one!

MADNESS:
People going 'bonkers' trying to survive in this mad world we live in!

PRETTY BABE:
This one is about the ugly duckling syndrome.

SKITTLES:
Alexandra went to the cinema with Elizabeth and a good friend.  She bought a whole packet of King Size Skittles and ate them all to herself!  This song is about selfishness and greed.

"OUCH!"

SHE'S OUT OF CONTROL:
As most families will know, brothers and sisters fall out over the stupidest of things.  This song is about annoying sisters!

WE DON'T DO LOVE SONGS:
One morning the family was sitting down watching RAGE (Australian music program).  All the songs that were being played were all about love.  So we decided to do a song about how much love songs suck!

I DON'T WANNA GO BACK TO SCHOOL:
This song is pretty self explanatory, it can probably relate to everyone in some way.  It could be either to do with School, Work, Uni, Tafe (Australian college) etc.  This song is about how we felt as the summer holidays were ending!

SKITTLES:
As explained above in "I Still Like Marmite!"
